When one gets struck with the need for aesthetics, they are often fully struck.
These “struck” people are sensitive. I believe information hits them harder than others. They feel more stronger, and thus need a more carefully crafted environment.
Now, if someone is struck, and their environment does not match their need, they’ve got two options: 1. They can be utterly, utterly defeated. Succumb to their environment and fall apart. 2. They can move to a new environment that suits them better. 3. They can change their environment.
Notice, I have not said that they can change themselves. I genuinely believe this is a trait so rooted into one’s being that it cannot be escaped.
And it makes sense. Society needs these people: these people who notice more, and have no option but to change, lest they lie down and die.
These unfortunate people, however, must carry a heavy burden however… They must deal with the irritated people who do not even see the problem, and they must do what they must in spite of it.
They must or they die.
